  1. Hydrate with WATER a lot!

  2. Drink 30 minutes before or after meals, not during

  3. Chew really really really well, until your food is pulverized

  4. Eat only until you are 80% full, not stuffed

  5. Eat protein and starchy carbs separately, it’s easier on your digestive system due the different enzymes and acids required to digest each. Food will pass through your system quicker for faster absorption.

  6. Eat portion controlled meals in peace, without TV, phone, computer, etc.

  7. Eat when you are hungry, not bored, thirsty or tired.

  8. Enjoy your food and savor each bite.

  9. Avoid drinking calories from sugary juices, sodas, sports drinks and alcohol.

  10. Avoid table salt, sugar, highly processed foods, starch, trans-fats, fried foods and diet drinks.

    to obtain, abs, diet is not the only factor…
    I am sure with the yoga you do , cardio and much core work..
    as in Planks, Up dog, luges, half moon etc… in a perfect world… your abs would be perfect ;-)

      I agreed with you, diet alone surely doesn’t create abs… However what you eat and how you eat it is a very good place to start!

    For # 2 drink 30 minutes before or after not during. Does the 30 minutes apply to after or just anytime after your meal?

      Drink (30 minutes) before or after the meal… Drinking during the meal washes away essential enzymes that help with digestion.
