I Believe in Miracles

If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly, our whole life would change ~ Buddha

Snuggled in the far east end of the Santa Monica mountains just west of the Hollywood sign and a stone’s throw away from all the historic Hollywood locations. Runyon Canyon is s park operated by the Los Angeles Recreation and Parks Department with free daily yoga classes, amazing hiking trails and unbeatable views of Los Angeles; it’s no wonder Runyon Canyon has a plethora of people and dogs hiking it’s trails daily, especially these challenging stairs that are sure to whip your butt into shape fast!

Now take a closer look at the pictures of the stairs below… That bush has a full blown blooming flower growing out of it; this may not seem odd at first glance… However, take note: There are a few hundred people hiking up and down these stairs with their dogs 7 days a week, it’s growing out of sand (not dirt) and it rarely ever rains in LA. I promise you there is no gardener on staff up at Runyon Canyon…

What does that mean? Miracles are always available, happening daily right before our eyes (if we pay attention). If this flower can bloom under those direr circumstances and stay alive through it’s living conditions and smell heavenly at the same time… What does that say for the rest of us?  I say if there’s a will there is a way; we are all meant to bloom and flourish (in our own way) in some capacity…

Are you living up to your true potential?

I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles.

~ Audrey Hepburn

Miracles happen everyday, change your perception of what a miracle is and you’ll see them all around you.

~ Jon Bon Jovi

Miracles happen to those who believe in them.

~ Bernard Berenson
