Aspen is one of those spectacularly grand places on this Earth… I had the opportunity to spend a few days carving into the beautiful mountains this past February. The experience was completely awe-inspiring and unexpected– which makes it that much more totally friggin awesome!! This little trip was a complete turning point in my life, I re-evaluated current situations and really came to a cross-roads with the things going on in my personal life; I needed a big change. I took a leap of faith in a new direction, knowing that I had to be on my way towards marvelous places and feelings once again. Not only did this time re-egnight my flame to help me see the strength I already had, it also gave me the courage to put it in action. Miss Mother Nature and her elements are grounding and humbling; whenever I’m feeling down and out, I go there, somewhere beautiful, breath deep and take it all in.
Learn and live, don’t put all your chips on black..
Here’s me on day two of four snowboarding March 2012 in Aspen (as you can see I was a little rusty), however I brushed up my skills carving down the mountain with a lesson. I can’t stress enough how vital the lesson was to this entire four day adventure, it made things even more fabulous!
