After sleeping for eight hours, breakfast is breaking a fast (from your night’s rest), it’s the most important meal of the day for many reasons, nourishing your body with a wholesome meal will jump-starts your day by giving your brain and muscles the energy they need to function and perform.  Eating breakfast also revs up your metabolism and helps you stay slim!  When this important meal is missed or prolonged longer than an hour, the body goes into starvation mode; the first thing consumed will then be stored as fat.
