Potassium


Is an essential nutrient used to maintain fluid and electrolyte balance in the body. A deficiency in potassium can cause fatigue, irritability, and hypertension (increased blood pressure). Overdose of potassium from natural sources is nearly impossible. When training hard potassium is especially essential for muscle recovery.  The current recommended daily allowance for potassium is a whopping 3.5 grams, below is a list of foods high potassium among their other fabulous benefits.


Foods High in Potassium.


Dried herbs, avocados, paprika and red chilli powder, coco powder and dark chocolate,dried apricots, prunes, zante currants and raisins, seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, and flax), fish (Salmon, Halibut, Tuna), coconut water, bananas, beans, Medjool dates.
